bone face

( the greenish part of skull is occipital bone )

2) BASILAR BONE (SINGLE ) = it is a thick Bony plate from the posterior part of floor of cranial cavity.

 HUMAN

(the greenish part of skull  is Basilar bone )

3) SUPER OCCIPITAL OR SQUANOUS BONE (SINGLE ) = it is also a Bony plate above the foramen (The foramen is the bony hollow archway created by pedicles of adjacent vertebrae, creating a passageway through which all spinal nerve roots run. As a spinal nerve branches from the spinal cord, it exits from this opening and travels to organs and muscles and sensory structures of the body) Magnum.

 SKULL

(the red part of skull is super occipital bone )

4) SPHENOID BONE ( SINGLE ) = this bone forms the floor of cranial cavity this bone form foramen ovale and foramen orbitorotundum.

 THEIR CLASSIFICATION

(the greenish part of the skull is sphenoid bone )

ALL BONES OF HUMAN SKULL AND THEIR CLASSIFICATION

( the greenish part of the skull is Ethmoid bone )

9) LACRIMAL BONES (PAIRED) = each lacrimal bone is situated at the anterolateral portion of Skull these bones makes the lacrimal fossa which lodge the lacrimal sac.

ALL

( the greenish part of skull is lacrimal bone )

10) MOLAR BONES (PAIRED) = Each molar bone is situated at lateral aspect of face and also zygometric bone .

ALL BONES OF HUMAN

( teeth in skull is molar bone )

11) Maxillae bone (paired)= largest bone of the skull and helps in formation of upper jaw ,roof of oral cavity and floor of nasal cavity.

ALL BONES OF HUMAN SKULL AND THEIR CLASSIFICATION

( the greenish part of the skull is maxillae bone )

12) PREMAXILLAE BONES (PAIRED) = they form anterior part of upper jaw.

ALL BONES OF HUMAN face bone

13 ) PALATINE BONES (PAIRED ) = these bones takes part in formation of upper part of nasal cavity.

face bone

( the greenish part of the skull is Palatine bone )

14)NASAL BONES (PAIRED) = these bones remain side by side without fusion and form the roof of nasal cavity .

 SKULL

( the greenish part of the skull is nasal bone )
